Note di degustazione
Very clear and fine on the nose, with lemon, pineapple and some yeasty aromas, the 2014 Riesling Wehlener Sonnenuhr Kabinett (Golden Capsule) opens pretty complex. This is a light, pure, mineral and very salty Kabinett from a top terroir that is expressed in the good and tension-filled finish. This is one of the bright Molitor Rieslings of the 2014 vintage, and it is absolutely delicate and filigreed. The sweetness gives nothing but fruit and balance, and is nothing but perfect.

White peach, apple and almond are announced on the nose, then piquantly marked by their pit and pips, laced with mouthwatering salinity and underlain with wet stone on a delicate, polished, only slightly sweet palate. There is a watercolor-like combination of transparency and understatement to this performance. A bottle that had been open for two weeks showed equal freshness, yet greater knittedness, and an even juicier finish.
