Note di degustazione
Deep ruby. Explosive aromas of black and blue fruits, smoky Indian spices, licorice and minerals, with a suave floral quality building in the glass. Fleshy and expansive on the palate, showing excellent clarity and breadth to its blueberry and cherry compote flavors. The floral quality repeats on a long, seamless, fruit-dominated finish that's framed by velvety tannins.

The only Saint Joseph produced, the 2012 St Joseph Domaine de la Croix des Vignes is another incredible effort from this team. Coming from steep, granite soils and a vineyard located just beside the famed Vignes de Hospice, this beauty knocks it out of the park with its massive minerality, currants, rare beef and tapenade-like aromas and flavors. Ripe, medium to full-bodied, beautifully textured and still lively and elegant, it too will knock your socks off over the coming 15-20 years.
Inky purple. Vibrant aromas of blueberry, violet, cracked pepper and smoky minerals. Focused and juicy on the palate, offering energetic black and blue fruit flavors that are given lift by suave mineral and floral elements. Persistent and appealingly perfumed on the finish, which features building, harmonious tannins.
