Note di degustazione
Cool start to the season and then a warm harvest. Very obvious tannins initially. Deep and rich with some liqueur elements. Long and luscious. Quite textured and deep flavoured. Quite a bit of grunt. Long and vibrant. Not too dissimilar to the 2012 Cornish Point. (JR)

Bright medium red. Captivating musky aromas of almost confectionery red fruits, spices and flowers. Savory and classically dry, showing dominant flavors of strawberry and raspberry. Can't quite match the 2014 Block 5 for refinement of tannins or lift but this will be a beauty if it's able to retain its fruit as the tannins soften.
Med to deep ruby-purple, the 2013 Block 5 Pinot Noir is youthfully mute on the nose with subtle cherry and pomegranate notes plus underlying plum and garrigue hints with some Chinese five spice and tree bark. Medium bodied and very earthy, it fills the mouth with densely packed savory layers and firm grainy tannins, finishing long.
