Note di degustazione
Picked somewhere between 200° and 215° Oechsle, the 2013 Riesling Wehlener Sonnenuhr Trockenbeerenauslese *** has a dark apricot-golden color and shows a terrific clear, fresh, precise and fine raisin and apricot aroma on the nose along with wholemeal bread and game notes. This is impressively intense, precise and fresh at the same time. Still flinty slate aromas here. Lush and generous on the palate, this is a highly finessed, gorgeously lush and elegant TBA that reveals great complexity and unbelievable balance and finesse. This is a perfect TBA, and it is ready to be enjoyed today and over the next 50 to 100 years. Bottled with 340 grams of residual sugar and more than 11 grams per liter of acidity. Bottled in June 2016; tasted in March 2018.

The 2013 Riesling Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Trockenbeerenauslese *** opens with a very clear, fresh, fine and pure dark stone fruit aroma that also reveals deep and refreshing minerality. Round and lush on the palate, this is a generously aromatic, highly elegant and refined TBA with a long and finessed finish. I wouldn't call it weightless, but kind of. The stewed peach aromas are precise and beautifully sweet, balanced by the fine and crystalline acidity. The finish is most of all salty and aromatic, truly stimulating and digestible. This is anther great TBA from Markus Molitor. Bottled in June 2016; tasted in March 2018.
