Note di degustazione
Bright gold. Ripe citrus and orchard fruits, honey, toasty lees, white flowers and iodine on the intensely perfumed nose. Stains the palate with ripe tangerine, poached pear and sweet butter flavors sharpened by a gingery nuance. Shows excellent clarity, lift and thrust on the smoky, mineral-tinged finish, which lingers with superb tenacity. All of this fruit came from the Saint-Joseph lieu-dit , one of the most prized vineyards in the appellation.

Full gold. A heady, complex bouquet evokes ripe citrus and pit fruits, along with notes of iodine, chamomile, jasmine and smoky minerals. Juicy, focused and pure, offering intense tangerine and pear flavors that deepen and spread out with air. The mineral and floral notes dominate the long, incisive finish.
The 2013 Saint Joseph les Granits Blanc, which had just been recently bottled, showed brilliantly, and certainly doesn't appear to be a kink in the recent string of incredible vintages of this cuvee. Possessing an exotic, perfumed style, it gives up tons of white peach, caramelized citrus, brioche and orange marmalade, with more and more floral and exotic qualities with time in the glass. Full-bodied, ripe, textured and layered, with beautiful freshness, this is another blockbuster vintage of this cuvee not to miss.
