Punteggio 98/100 · Da bere 2030-2060, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Jan 2015

The bright color of the 2013 Kiedricher Gräfenberg Riesling Beerenauslese is less intense than that of the Turmberg BA but the wine is amazingly clear, precise and fresh on the nose that already indicates its vivid mineral, precisely sharpened and highly complex character. Perfect in fruit ripeness and concentration this is a remarkable, brillant and really piquant BA with a noble, still delicate texture and a fresh and stimulating finish. You want to have figures, a score? It's all abstract but here you are: Harvested with 149° Oechsle and bottled with 206 grams per liter of residual sugar and a balancing total acidity of 10.2 grams per liter. This makes 8% of alcohol and an almost perfect score.

Punteggio 17/20 · Da bere 2018-2033, Julia Harding MW, jancisrobinson.com, Jun 2014

Intense grapefruit aroma, though still really reined in. Rich, very sweet and just in balance. Almost too sweet for the acidity, though I did not expect to say that in 2013. Needs time to grow out of its baby fat. (JH)
