2001 Ruchottes Chambertin Vieilles Vignes

Nearly mute on the nose today. Sweet, supple and creamy but I don't get a sense of great concentration. The finish shows obvious wood tannins but avoids dryness. This does not seem to possess the matiere primaire of most of Laurent's grand crus in 2001.
