2002 Shiraz Cabernet JSM

(a blend of 70%shiraz , 20% cabernet franc and 10% cabernet sauvignon) Medium ruby. Ripe, floral aromas of blackberry, raspberry and candied licorice, with a bright minty kick. A round, supple midweight with up-front, almost jammy blackberry and raspberry fruit. Finishes a bit tight, but food should easily tame the wine's slightly dusty tannins.
