Note di degustazione
Rich floral aroma. Great presence in the mouth with some richness but (just) enough acidity. Coming to the end of its life but a completely different beast from 99.5% of Sancerres. (JR)

Light yellow. Fresh orange and apple on the nose, with complicating notes of anise and wet stone. Dry, nervy citrus and floral flavors are nicely focused and pure. Gains fleshiness with aeration and finishes with lingering mineral and floral qualities. (The weighty, deeply concentrated 2006 Cuvee du Connetable was so overwhelmed by spicy, vanillin oak that it was unidentifiable as sauvignon blanc, much less Sancerre.)
Informazioni sul produttore

Sancerre’s leading producer, François Cotat is known for his idiosyncratic, age-worthy expressions of Sauvignon Blanc on Kimmeridgian soils, not to mention his prized rosé. Sometimes denied appellation status for their atypical style, these wines are some of the most collectable in the region.
