Slightly smudgy ruby. Lacks freshness and definition on the nose. Very light and vapid. Drink (almost) now or not at all. (JR)
Rather weak crimson. Hint of herbaceousness on the nose and no great definition. Sweet start then very gentle texture. Quite enough acidity even a slight surfeit of it. Delicate, Pretty well done so long as this is not one of the more expensive wines. Not for the very long term. Easy, sweet red wine but no ambition. Unappetising sweet finish. (JR)
