Bright crimson. A slight note of oak still? Bright but slightly raw cherries. Good energy here but somehow a bit unformed – unusual in a 2000…Dry tannins on the end but not especially haunting or subtle. Embryonic. Maybe lightly TCA-affected? (JR)
