The 2003 Vacqueyras cuvee is not up to the normal high standards of this blue chip producer. The 2003 Vacqueyras Cuvee Lopy possesses more concentration, garrigue, licorice, black cherry, and currant characteristics than the Azalais, but it finishes abruptly with some ragged tannin.
