Magnum. Pale ruby. Very clear. Lots of sweet ripe fruit with an overlay of autumnal mulch. Then quite marked acidity on the palate. This demands food. Fine almost charred tannins on the end. Not a singer; a little too sturdy for that. But very agreeably sweet. (JR)
