2010 Bandol Rose

Bright, orange-tinged pink. Spicy, mineral-accented aromas of redcurrant, blood orange and white pepper, with a hint of lavender in the background. Focused and precise, with very good depth and vivacity to its bitter red fruit and citrus zest flavors. Gains sweetness with air and clings impressively on the finish, which leaves notes of anise and candied orange behind. Don't be in a rush to drink this, by the way.
