Note di degustazione
This big, rich, firmly-structured, full-bodied port exhibits a dense purple color, a tight but promising nose with elements of flowers, jammy black-raspberries, earth, and spice. Vaguely reminiscent of a Dow or Warre in its emphasis on restraint and dryness, this beautiful, well-delineated, cleanly made port will be at its prime by the turn of the century, and easily last for two decades thereafter.

Almost as thick as Graham and a favorite of the vintage. Racy and tannic with super dark color and loads of fruity, peppery aromas. Full-bodied yet reserved. quite dry with sleek tannins and a very long finish. Best after 2000. 500 cases made. – James Suckling , Wine Spectator 1994
