The 2004 Estate Chardonnay is a slow-moving thing, and at 21 years from its harvest, it has evolved into a graceful, composed wine. The acidity, it seems, will never be lessened through the annals of time, and all characters come into focus through the lens of the time it has spent in bottle.

Rich and lively – arguably more zest than some younger vintages of Estate (because it includes Coddington and Hunting Hill fruit). Really exciting wine! Clean and fresh and still youthful. (JR)
The 2004 Chardonnay Estate is shining gold in the glass. At this point in its evolution, it remains fresh and offers fruit richness of nectarine and nectarine kernel, supple with nice glycerin content providing a smooth texture.
