Medium red. Rich scents and flavors of strawberry, mocha and olive tapenade gain in freshness with air. Very rich, deep, seamless wine with a plush texture and no rough edges. This very generous Grands-Echézeaux is perfect for drinking now but will hold. Builds nicely on the very long finish, with the ripe tannins fully coated by the wine's mid-palate richness.

Full medium red. Captivating, nuanced aromas of strawberry, minerals, meat and dried rose. Juicy and penetrating rather than fleshy, with strong acids giving definition, cut and lift to the flavors of sappy red berries, flowers and minerals. Offers compelling inner-mouth energy. The tannins dust the entire palate on the long, brisk finish. Give this six to eight years.
