Note di degustazione
Moderately saturated medium red. Subdued but pure aromas of red berries, flowers, minerals and earth. More precise and vibrant than the Feusselottes but a bit youthfully imploded today. Ripe, harmonious acidity and an intriguing floral element give lift to the middle palate. Youthful and built to age.

(from vines around 50 years of age): Bright ruby-red. Subtle but pure aromas of blackberry, coffee, chocolate, violet and minerals. Tight and primary but quite suave, with excellent energy to its dark fruit and mineral flavors. Still, this very young wine is hiding more than it's showing today. Best today on the youthful, long finish, which shows a whiplash of saline minerality. Very nicely judged extraction here but it's hard to envision the end result today, as this wine is unusually masculine for Amoureuses.
Dark crimson and no obvious Amoureuses class on the nose. A bit loose and soft and then a chewy, very tight finish (the same phenomenon as in the Charmes). Some depth underneath however and good persistence. (JR)
