Karthauserhof's 2001 Riesling Kabinett Eitelsbacher Karthauserhofberg is an excellent value. It reveals a lovely nose of pure, stone-like scents. On the palate, this light to medium-bodied wine is juicy, rich, satin-textured, and layered. Candied lemons, slate, and tangy limes are found in its expressive personality.
