The 1987 white Hermitage is light bodied, and an excellent, round, ripe wine with an attractive honeyed, peachlike bouquet intertwined with the smell of spring flowers (acacias?). In the mouth, the wine is medium- to full-bodied, with beautiful clarity, impeccable cleanliness, and a long, rich finish. It is delicious. Anticipated maturity: now-2000. Last tasted 11/95.
