2008 Chardonnay Block 2

The 2008 Block 2 Chardonnay is more open at the moment revealing pronounced notes of meal and struck match with some apricots and lemon curd, green guava and toast plus a little chalk dust. Crisp, concentrated and medium bodied, this wine has a lovely satiny texture and a very long finish. It should be best from 2011 to 2016+. Winemaker Blair Walter continues to work his magic with the recent releases from Central Otago’s most famous Estate.
