Deep ruby. Beautifully scented with red-fruit sweetness and a dry mineral/stony overlay. So finely structured, still primary but with just the beginning of development. Young and bright and so full of life and energy. Deep and long and built for ageing even with this energy and freshness. Cool and silky even though it will age well. (JH)

Dark crimson. Edgy. Hard work at the moment. Tough finish but I suspect the serving temperature is the problem. (JR)
Slightly sweet oak overlay. But lovely pure Gamay fruit with so much bone-dry character struggling to emerge. A long-term wine with real structure and interest. A long way from AC Beaujolais though. (JR)
Organic cultivation controlled by Ecocert. 100% de-stemmed with burgundian vinification. The wine is aged on its lees for a minimum of 12 months in barrel before bottling. No need for these heavy bottles, Thibault ! Very rich and sumptuous indeed. One can easily see the relation with his burgundies. And one can see that this is Moulin à Vent. AND it probably isn’t a totally silly price. Ambitious and achieved. Super clean. So, well done, except for the bottles… (JR)
