Note di degustazione
Along the same lines quality-wise, the 2011 Condrieu Les Grandes Chaillees is more fresh and detailed, with notions of white peach, lychee and flowers flowing to a medium-bodied, beautifully fresh and pure texture on the palate. Very precise and pure, this beauty will thrill for 3-4 years. While the 2011 reds from proprietor Stephan Montez were good to very good, his Condrieus were stunning. No known American importer.

Pale gold. Fresh pear, mineral, honeysuckle and ginger scents have great purity and lift. Offers intense, mineral-accented citrus and orchard fruit flavors, with a violet quality gaining power with aeration. Rich yet vibrant on the finish, showing outstanding energy and mineral-driven persistence.
Less immediately fragrant than Le Petit Viognier, still peachily fresh. Some oak flavour on the palate as well as the creamy texture. Lightish, fresh. Lovely clean dry finish. Persistent but you have to pay attention (JH)
