1995 Veenwouden Merlot

Saturated dark red. Cassis, raspberry, sage, mint and oak spice on the nose. Quite velvety and ripe in the mouth; stuffed with sweetly oaky redcurrant and black cherry flavors. A hint of cranberry, harmonious acids and some fresh herbal notes confer briskness to this fruit bomb. Finishes thoroughly ripe, with light tannins.
