2008 Le Sol Syrah

The 2008 Le Sol is layered with peat and mulch, sous-bois and licorice. The aromas tend down a dark/olive green path, and this leads us to game, gristle and sweet roast beetroot. Earthy. In the mouth, the wine is mineral and dark, laden with graphite and fine tannins. It has a "damper" feel than the 2007 tasted prior. 14.4% alcohol, sealed under cork.
