2010 Chambertin Clos de Beze

Picked on 12 October! Dark crimson. Very intense nose. Very racy fruit. But great depth of fruit too. Far from funky. You might argue this is just a tad technical in comparison to a Rousseau, for example, but it is certainly ambitious and not too messed about with. Bitter cherries on the end. (JR)
