Medium red. Evolving aromas of plum, mocha, truffle and earth. Supple, sweet and fat, with a slight suggestion of jammy red fruits. Soft and forward, with modest acidity. Finishes with slightly drying tannins.

The dark plum-colored 2003 offers delicious, sweet cherry scents intermixed with a resiny character, fine ripeness, medium body, good flesh, and an elegant, fruit-forward style. It is ideal for consumption over the next 6-7 years.
Lively mid crimson. Extremely ripe and attention-grabbing – rather un-Moueix, in fact – with light animal notes. But then an extremely gentle palate that is just very slightly too ripe for my taste. A little it simple, though very well and thoughtfully vinified. Dry finish. (JR)
Moderately saturated medium red. Expressive, ripe aromas of redcurrant, raspberry, tobacco, iron and smoky oak. Suave and dry, with red fruit flavors and decent density. The rather substantial but fine tannins hit the palate late. Gently extracted wine with moderate complexity and grip. Some press wine may be added to supply more muscle.
