Note di degustazione
Tasted from a 375ml bottle and the 2002 Domaine Jamet Côte-Rôtie shows a beautiful nose of juicy blackberry, smoky bacon, black pepper and subtle spice notes. Medium bodied with a smooth texture and a medium finish.

(bottled in September; 12. 4% alcohol) Medium red. Aromas of redcurrant, spicy oak and leather, along with an odd whiff of apple. Juicy, peppery and on the lean side; a wine with modest flesh. Finishes distinctly peppery but with surprising persistence and subtlety, even if the wine's fruit is currently cut off by its acidity. A solid effort in the context of the vintage. "The grape sugars were not bad when we were forced by spreading rot to harvest, but the maturity of the skins had not finished," noted Jamet.
