Note di degustazione
Dark red. Nose initially dominated by garrigue, mint and peppery spices; strong cherry and raspberry fruit emerged with aeration. Juicy and bright on the palate, with sharply focused flavors of red and black berries, pepper, game, smoke and wild herbs. Impressively structured wine with a tightly coiled spring. Finishes with building tannins and excellent length. May ultimately merit an even higher score.

Gamey, even wild! Scents. Quite exciting. Round and sweet and very scented. Wild, as though it were organic. Chewy. Slightly hollow but it should make it in the end. (JR)
(from vines averaging 70 years of age) Medium ruby. Sappy aromas of currant, black raspberry, smoke and spices; shows a slightly roasted aspect. Broad, full and gamey, with a more obvious garrigue character than the basic cuvee. Less evolved and less sweet than the first sample, and harder to taste today. Finishes with serious, dusty tannins and strong spice tones. This will require at least a few years of bottle aging.
