Note di degustazione
Bright purple. Sexy, highly perfumed aromas of fresh red and dark berries, violet and incense, with a smoky quality building in the glass. Offers juicy, mineral-laced black raspberry and cherry compote flavors, with a touch of star anise building in the glass. Closes on a smoky note, with repeating spiciness, silky tannins and excellent floral persistence.

The single-vineyard 2012 Crozes-Ermitage Le Grand Courtil is a beauty. While I probably not the longest lived effort, it has terrific black raspberry, black cherry, olive and crushed rock aromas and flavors to go with a medium to full-bodied, ripe, textured feel that's ideal for drinking over the coming 5-7 years.
(raised in 95% concrete and 5% wooden vats): Bright purple. A heady, smoke-tinged bouquet evokes cassis, blueberry, pipe tobacco and potpourri, with a lively mineral accent building with air. Silky and seamless on the palate, offering vibrant red berry and spicecake flavors sharpened by a peppery nuance. The finish lingers with impressive tenacity, leaving floral pastille and peppery spice notes behind.
