1988 Henriot Cuvee des Enchanteleurs

Magnum. Very fine greenish gold still. Suave blend of evolution and elegance. Some notes of the hedgerow and real lift as well as depth. Lively, piercing build. Very refreshing but not astringent as some 1988s are still. Lovely delicate wine in the mouth but great balance. This would make a very stylish aperitif. Disgorged six months earlier. (JR)
