Full medium ruby. Very dark aromas of cassis, blackberry, violet and licorice. Bright and tightly wound, even a bit musclebound today, with black fruit and licorice flavors. Possesses substantial tannins but appears to have enough balancing sweetness. May be better than it's showing today.
