2009 Cape Point Chardonnay

Medium bright yellow. Restrained aromas of lime ice, light spices and leesy vanilla. Pure, discreet and very young, with some unabsorbed CO2 perking up the intense flavors of white peach, lime and subtle oak. This very suave medium-bodied chardonnay shows a classically dry, rising finish with lovely sappiness. Needs at least a year or two to blossom in the bottle.
