Note di degustazione
The 2012 is probably the steadiest and well-adjusted of all Hubacker vintages. Nothing sticks out, but there is a wonderful harmony of ripe fruit, subtle phenolics, cool minerality and well-rounded acidity, which is ably supported by plenty of juice and a supple texture. Although it has all the potential for further ageing, it’s difficult to resist the temptation to drink it now. (MS)

Very muscular yet crystalline and sculpted fruit. Very impressive. Richness encased in ambition with a dry finish. A very nourishing finish. Wonderful nuances on the finish. (JR)
I can imagine that the Hubacker has developed a fan base all of its own, as it consistently strikes me as an embodiement of subtlety and refinement. You have to search that little bit harder, but will be rewarded with a crunchy bite of green and yellow fruit, mouth-watering juices and tightly packed minerality. Lively and tactile, cool rather than exuberant, the Hubacker is full of intrigue and will need time and dedication to appreciate its full potential. (MS)
