2022 Le Gamay de L'Allie

BiNaume is a collaboration between Claire Naudin of Domaine Henri Naudin-Ferrand and her husband, Jean-Yves Bizot. 100% Gamay from Auvergne, certified organic. Hand-picked, spontaneous fermentation, no added sulphites, unfiltered. Totally different from most Gamay I've tasted. Wild fruit, red-flesh tannic apples, raspberries soaked in blackcurrant-bud tea. Wild. Cheeky. Skinny. Full of bite and so sharp you don't feel the cut. But also full of joy, like a day spent outdoors walking in the wind. (TC)
