2023 Domaine Dujac Vosne-Romanée Les Beaux Monts 1er Cru

The 2023 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts was still quite primary when I tasted it, unfurling in the glass with aromas of cherries, petals and spices. Medium to full-bodied, supple and suave, with a sweet core of fruit, it's pure and mineral.

The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Les Beaux Monts 1er Cru has a fragrant bouquet that unfolds light touches of finely delineated raspberry, blackcurrant, peony and menthol scents with each swirl. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, a mélange of red and black fruit and a liberal sprinkling of black pepper toward the finish from the stems. Very harmonious and quite persistent, this is a very fine Beaux Monts that has a little more elegance than the previous vintage.
