Punteggio 93/100 · Da bere 2024-2034, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2018
(50% frosted): Pale, green-tinged yellow. Complex perfume of lemon, lime, powdered stone, menthol, crushed rock and white pepper. More pliant and generous than the Bienvenue but still more saline than sweet. Today this doesn't show the cut or penetration of the Bienvenues but it's a bigger wine. Finishes dry and long.

Really mealy and savoury on the nose with a touch of oak spice, dominating the fruit at the moment. Powerful and broad and full in the mouth, balanced by just enough freshness. All still to play for. (JH)
