2019 Domaine Henri Gouges Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Chenes Carteaux 1er Cru

The 2019 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Chênes Carteaux 1er Cru was showing a bit of SO2 on the nose. The palate is fleshy and well balanced with fine grip, offering mulberry and wild strawberry fruit laced with white pepper. Gentle but quite persistent on the finish. I will defer judgment for now and revisit in bottle.
