1990 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru 'Les Feusselottes' 0,75l Georges Mugneret-Gibourg

I am a massive fan of this domaine, but that said, I could not quite come to love the 1990 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru les Fuesselottes. It seemed overtly rustic and ferrous on the nose, perhaps some brettanomyces subduing the fruit. The palate has a sweet mulberry entry and there is satisfactory weight in the mouth, yet there is a nagging flabbiness on the finish that I suspect would never be countenanced today.
