The 2022 Beau-Site offers red plum and crushed strawberry aromas on the simple but vibrant bouquet. Light sous-bois scents come through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly rough-hewn tannins on the entry. Black tea notes tinge its red fruit core, segueing into a slightly austere finish. This is early drinking.

Captures the intensity of the vintage, with its huge concentration, fig, balsamic, baked plum, mushrooms, espresso, bitter chocolate and eucalyptus. Just about keeps its focus. Suggest leaving for four to six years to allow the tannins to soften. Harvest September 8 to 27, 40% new oak, 17hl/h yield after frost and hail and drought.
