2006 Domaine Frédéric Esmonin Mazy-Chambertin Grand Cru

Bright ruby-red. Wild, nuanced nose combines blueberry, violet, mocha and smoked meat. Sweet but youthfully backward, with pronounced mineral and floral elements giving it lovely inner-mouth perfume. Finishes firm, tight and long, with lingering perfume. This one will need a good five or six years of patience.
