The 2018 Chardonnay Platt Vineyard is terrific, offering a racy yet concentrated, incredibly impressive style. Giving up aromas and flavors of crushed lemon, salted citrus, and white flowers, it’s tight and focused on the palate, with bright acidity and a great finish. It was brought up in 50% new oak, but you wouldn’t know that by tasting it. Put this beauty in a lineup of top white Burgundies and shock your friends.

The 2018 Chardonnay Platt Vineyard charges out of the gate with vibrant notions of fresh grapefruit, lemon tart and green mango with hints of orange blossoms, freshly shaved ginger, coriander seed, sea spray and yuzu plus a waft of toasted almonds. The medium to full-bodied palate offers amazing intensity with layers of citrus, tropical and stone fruits accented by exotic spices, featuring a racy line of freshness and finishing long and mineral laced. Boy, oh, boy—that's good! 200 cases were made.
