Not that much nose at present. Juicy fruit and really rather sleek and charming. Perhaps not the deepest, richest grand cru but nice delicacy. Gentle, seductive texture. Neat finish. (JR)

The 2015 Latricieres-Chambertin Grand Cru felt quite backward on the nose following on from the Pommard Rugiens-Bas, though it gradually opens up with black cherries, pomegranate and cold slate scents, a little foursquare but focused. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, a crisp line of acidity, a mixture of red and black fruit laced with orange rind, spice and palpable salinity towards the persistent finish. This is an excellent follow-up to the impressive 2014.
