Note di degustazione
The massive, broad-shouldered, full-bodied, ripe Corton is medium-to-dark ruby-colored and exhibits a blackberry and toasty oak-laden nose. This structured, masculine, and tannic wine is filled with juicy cassis, cherries, blackberries, and dark raspberries that linger in its long finish. Projected maturity: 2002-2007. Bouchard's qualitative resurgence continues. It is extremely gratifying to see the efforts put forth by Joseph Henriot, this negociant's new owner and the talented duo of Misters Hervet and Prost, respectively the firm's director and wine-maker. Importer: Clicquot, Inc., New York, NY; tel (212) 888-7575.
