On the palate, a dry gin and lime zing. Power and freshness combined and then a very long finish. (Sample very cold.) (JH)

Pale, green-tinged color. Subtle, precise aromas of lime, quinine and minerals. Broad, rich and dry but with terrific grip and an impression of weightlessness. The complex flavors of powdered stone, minerals, lime blossom and citrus peel resemble those of the young '06. Superb classic Chablis with a rising finish and lovely minerality. Winemaker Didier Seguier gives the edge to the '06, though, for its greater purity.
Pale, green-tinged color. High-pitched nose dominated by minerals and lime. Classic gripping Chablis grand cru, with lemon, mineral and crushed stone flavors given shape and vibrancy by brisk acids. Offers an uncanny combination of seamless texture and tensile strength. Finishes with superb lingering sweetness and terrific snap. Like the Bougros, this was still on its fine lees, in cuve Great potential here.
