Brilliant violet. Ripe cherry and boysenberry aromas are complemented by suggestions of smoky minerals, candied flowers and olive. Pliant red/blue fruit flavors show good depth and focus, and licorice and cracked pepper nuances build as the wine opens up. Blends power and vivacity on a long, penetrating finish that features building tannins and lingering floral, olive and smoky mineral notes.
