The 2020 Chardonnay Baracca is smoky, almost savory in style, with musky peaches and pears lifted by dusty dried florals and hints of crushed stone. This is rich and potent, yet freshness is nicely maintained with zesty acids that enliven its ripe orchard fruits and sweet inner spices, creating a seductive expression. It tapers off with candied lime and exotic florals while leaving the palate clean and refreshed.
