Apparently quite sweet and ripe initially and then it tightens up to lots of mineral notes, acidity and complexity. Very much in the idiom of new-wave, super-tight Meursault. (JR)

The 2020 Bourgogne Rouge has a fresh nose with rose petals and incense combining with the red berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, a crisp line of acidity, taut and fresh with a touch of white pepper on the finish. Delightful.
