Note di degustazione
Crunchy green apple, smoky notes on the finish with medium body and good core-fruit power. Subtle but attractive stony character lingering beneath, which should emerge with maturity. (RH)

The 2017 Meursault Perrières 1er Cru comes from 1.2 hectares of vine. It has a touch of reduction on the nose that makes it difficult to read at the moment. The palate is fresh on the entry, offering light orange pith, apricot and white peach notes. Slightly waxy in texture, with a spicy finish that lingers in the mouth. Fine.
A classically vibrant and intense Meursault with fine citrus, stones and bright, ripe peaches, leading to a very assertive and concentrated palate with great richness and acidity, driving long and deep. The power here is exceptional. Drink across the next decade.
Aromas of ripe lemons, praline, crushed chalk and white flowers introduce the 2017 Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières, a medium to full-bodied, pure and chiseled wine with lovely mid-palate amplitude, a bright line of acidity and a chalky, tight-knit core. Like the Genevrières, this is one of the highlights from chez Bouchard this year.
