Note di degustazione
Dark red. Pungent bouquet evokes raspberry and cherry, with a suave floral quality building with air. Pliant red berry flavors offer good depth and sweetness, picking up anise and mocha qualities on the close. Finishes with gentle grip and very good length. This should drink well young.

The 2005 Chateauneuf du Pape has a dense ruby/purple color and a sweet nose of black cherry fruit intermixed with a hint of licorice, smoke, earth, and a touch of underbrush. It is medium-bodied, has more noticeable tannins, and fresher acidity, giving the wine a less evolved, more structured mouthfeel. Give it 1-2 years of bottle age, and drink it over the following decade or more. arious importers including T. Edward Wines, New York, NY; tel. Deep ruby. Impressive pure, vibrant aromas of red and dark berries. Lush, sweet and open, with supple blueberry and raspberry flavors framed by slow-building tannins. This picked up some oak notes with aeration but the fruit is deep and concentrated and the wine finishes juicy and persistent.
